This contribution analyzes the role of orientation towards eco-socially just futures from the perspective of Life Design and critical consciousness. In a context characterized by structural inequalities and socio-environmental instability, guidance and counselling are called upon to assume a transformative role, capable of deconstructing dominant narratives that legitimize unequal occupational hierarchies. The contribution offers a critical reflection on the concept of prestige, exploring its symbolic dimension and its role in the reproduction of social inequalities. Through the analysis of the results of an exploratory research, the need for guidance practices as generative spaces, as capable of promoting critical awareness and cultivating plural, inclusive, and sustainable future imaginaries, is discussed. From this perspective, guidance and counselling become a lever for the collective construction of desirable futures, shared with communities and grounded in equity, participation, and eco-social justice.

Abstract
From this perspective, guidance and counselling become a lever for the collective construction of desirable futures, shared with communities and grounded in equity, participation, and eco-social justice.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
