This research project begins by tracing the history of the “Don Giuseppe Fogazzaro” Institute, from its founding up to the post-World War II period, through the consultation of archival documents and an analysis of the historical context of the city of Vicenza. The study then focuses on the role of the school principal and headteacher, examining the transition from the traditional presidency to modern school leadership within the Institute’s history, as documented through legislative developments and the review of archival records and official minutes.
