The paper explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence into the school, questioning its potential as a teaching resource and the possible critical issues that arise from it. A theoretical analysis is presented that includes definitions, theoretical developments and normative references with subsequent insights into the concrete uses of AI in teaching, in the teacher – student relationship and in evaluation processes. Finally, the empirical part, based on a survey of secondary school teachers, helps provide a realistic picture of current perceptions and practices, offering insights for pedagogical reflection on the future of school in the digital age.
L’elaborato esplora l’impatto dell’Intelligenza Artificiale in ambito scolastico, interrogandosi sul suo potenziale come risorsa didattica e sulle possibili criticità che ne derivano. Si presenta un’analisi teorica che comprende definizioni, sviluppi storici e riferimenti normativi con successivi approfondimenti sugli usi concreti dell’IA nella didattica, nel rapporto docente – studente e nei processi di valutazione. Infine, la parte empirica, basata su un’indagine rivolta a insegnanti di scuola secondaria, contribuisce a restituire un quadro realistico delle percezioni e delle pratiche attuali, offrendo spunti per una riflessione pedagogica sul futuro della scuola nell’era digitale.
