The thesis examines the historical evolution of language, to which many scholars have contributed, affirming the interdisciplinary dimension of language. The aim was to provide a detailed mapping of linguistic thought to understand how language has evolved in humans. To this end, it was essential to provide an overview of the main theories on language acquisition in children, such as behaviorist theory, nativist theory, interactionist theory, social context theory, and social learning theory. This approach also made it possible to identify the causes of possible learning disorders in children, in order to define targeted interventions.

Abstract
The thesis examines the historical evolution of language, to which many scholars have contributed, affirming the interdisciplinary dimension of language. The aim was to provide a detailed mapping of linguistic thought to understand how language has evolved in humans. To this end, it was essential to provide an overview of the main theories on language acquisition in children, such as behaviorist theory, nativist theory, interactionist theory, social context theory, and social learning theory. This approach also made it possible to identify the causes of possible learning disorders in children, in order to define targeted interventions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
