La tesi sul metacinema nei film di Woody Allen si pone l'obiettivo di analizzare nello specifico quattro pellicole da lui scritte e dirette: Stardust Memories, Zelig, La Rosa Purpurea del Cairo e Hollywood Ending. Attraverso lo studio e la ricerca di monografie su Woody Allen, la tesi vuole indagare in cosa consiste il metacinema, e spiegare in quali casi questo può verificarsi.
