Madre d'inverno di Vivian Lamarque: lettura stilistica e tematica

Madre d’inverno represents one of the highest points in the poetic production of Vivian Lamarque, bringing together the central themes of her writing and her biography: from the loss of her natural mother, through the abandonment by her adoptive mother, to the need to surround herself with genuine affections, among which stands out that of the “roommate poetry.” This thesis offers a stylistic and thematic analysis of the collection, with particular attention to the author’s linguistic choices and to the relationship between expressive simplicity and thematic depth.

Madre d’inverno rappresenta uno dei vertici della produzione poetica di Vivian Lamarque, in cui sono raccolti tutti i temi principali della sua scrittura e della sua biografia, a partire dalla perdita della madre naturale, passando per l’abbandono da parte di quella adottiva, fino al bisogno di circondarsi di affetti autentici, tra i quali, quello della ‘coinquilina poesia’. La presente tesi propone un’analisi stilistica e tematica della raccolta, con particolare attenzione alle scelte linguistiche dell’autrice e al rapporto tra semplicità espressiva e profondità tematica.
