Storia e totalitarismo in Philip Roth e Hanna Arendt

This thesis aims to analyze, as broadly as possible, the approach used by Philip Roth and Hannah Arendt to the concepts of history and totalitarianism. In doing so, the second chapter, regarding Philip Roth, attempts to compare his intellectual positions with those of another author: Hayden White.

La tesi si propone di analizzare, in modo più ampio possibile l'approccio usato da Philip Roth ed Hanna Arendt, per quanto riguarda i concetti di storia e totalitarismo. Nel fare questo, si è cercato nel secondo capitolo per quanto riguarda Philip Roth di confrontare le sue posizioni intellettuali con quelle di un altro autore: Hayden White.
