Analysis of the concept of honour, its evolution over time and in particular its relationship with the concept of shame in anthropological studies in the Mediterranean and the Middle East since the mid-20th century, demonstrating the cultural proximity between the two areas and at the same time the particularistic value of the concept of honour in each individual civilisation.
Analisi del concetto di onore, la sua evoluzione nel tempo e in particolare la relazione con il concetto di vergogna negli studi antropologici nel Mediterraneo e in Medio Oriente a partire dalla metà del XX secolo, dimostrando la vicinanza culturale tra le due aree e nello stesso tempo il valore particolaristico del concetto di onore in ogni singola civiltà.
