The thesis analyzes the relationship between climate change and electricity demand, highlighting how the increase in temperatures affects energy consumption, especially in the residential and industrial sectors. The first chapter delves into the current impact of global warming on electricity demand, with particular attention to the growth in the use of cooling systems. The second chapter proposes forecast scenarios for 30 and 50 years, based on climate models and projections of energy demand, illustrating future challenges in terms of sustainability and production capacity. Finally, the third chapter explores possible solutions to mitigate the problem, including the use of nuclear energy, highlighting its benefits, limitations and implications in the context of the energy transition.

Abstract
The thesis analyzes the relationship between climate change and electricity demand, highlighting how the increase in temperatures affects energy consumption, especially in the residential and industrial sectors. The first chapter delves into the current impact of global warming on electricity demand, with particular attention to the growth in the use of cooling systems. The second chapter proposes forecast scenarios for 30 and 50 years, based on climate models and projections of energy demand, illustrating future challenges in terms of sustainability and production capacity. Finally, the third chapter explores possible solutions to mitigate the problem, including the use of nuclear energy, highlighting its benefits, limitations and implications in the context of the energy transition.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
