Radio beacon systems are used to help aircraft navigate safely, especially during landing and in poor weather conditions. These systems transmit radio signals from ground stations to aircraft, helping pilots understand their position and direction. This project introduces the main radio navigation systems used in aviation, such as Non-Directional Beacons (NDB), VOR systems, and the Instrument Landing System (ILS), explaining how they work and why they are still important today, even with the presence of satellite navigation systems.

Abstract
Radio beacon systems are used to help aircraft navigate safely, especially during landing and in poor weather conditions. These systems transmit radio signals from ground stations to aircraft, helping pilots understand their position and direction. This project introduces the main radio navigation systems used in aviation, such as Non-Directional Beacons (NDB), VOR systems, and the Instrument Landing System (ILS), explaining how they work and why they are still important today, even with the presence of satellite navigation systems.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
