This study presents the results of the curricular internship carried out at Gabrielli S.p.A., within the Coils Division. The main objective of the project is the experimental analysis of steel samples (DD11, S235JR, and S420MC) from three different foundries and their subsequent characterization. All stages of the laboratory procedure are systematically described, from sampling during production to the mechanical and chemical tests performed on the extracted specimens. The metallurgical analysis is complemented by the examination of micrographs obtained through optical microscopy (OM). The experimental results are then compared with the reference values established by European standards (EN-ISO) to assess their compliance. As part of the supplier's characterization, historical laboratory test data are processed to identify distinctive specifications and derive technical considerations. Finally, the study proposes the development of an artificial intelligence agent capable of querying a database of historical tests and providing users with immediate responses.

Abstract
Finally, the study proposes the development of an artificial intelligence agent capable of querying a database of historical tests and providing users with immediate responses.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
