CONFEDERALISMO DEMOCRATICO E AUTONOMIA CURDA : DALLA TEORIA DI BOOKCHIN ALL'ESPERIENZA IN ROJAVA .

This thesis aim to analyze the political proposal of democratic confederalism , created by the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan , with a focus on the geopolitcal and socio-cultural context of the kurdish population . The work also explores the influence of Murray Bookchin's thought , the theorist of libertarian municipalism , on the development of democratic confederalism . Additionally , the thesis examines the pratical trasformation of these theories in the context of the autonomous cantons of Rojava , a kurdish region in northen Syria , where democratic confederalism is being realized through the organization of local autonomus governments

La tesi si propone di analizzare la proposta politica di confederalismo democratico concepita dal leader curdo Abdullah Ocalan , focalizzandosi sul contesto geopolitico e socio-culturale della popolazione curda.Il lavoro esplora l'influenza del pensiero di Murray Bookchin , teorico del municipalismo libertario , sullo sviluppo del confederalismo democratico , Viene posta in analisi la trasformazione pratica di queste teorie nel contesto dei cantoni autonomi del Rojava , regione curda a nord della Siria , dove il confederalismo democratico si sta concretizzando attraverso l'organizzazione di governi autonomi locali
