This thesis presents the work carried out during a curricular internship focused on the design and development of a mechanical structure intended for an automated welding machine. The main goal of the project was to create a support for an industrial camera used to detect the correct orientation of a threaded pin. Based on the visual recognition outcome, the system automatically sorts the pin: if correctly oriented, it is directed to the welding station to be assembled with the male part of the anuba hinge; otherwise, it is rejected. The design phase was carried out using CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, while the production of the structure was completed in collaboration with the technical departments of the host company. This project enabled the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience, addressing challenges related to machine vision, automation, and mechanical design.

Abstract
This project enabled the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience, addressing challenges related to machine vision, automation, and mechanical design.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
