The activity described in this thesis, carried out at Komatsu Italia Manufacturing, focuses on the analysis of the structural behavior of the main components of the work equipment of a wheeled hydraulic excavator, with particular focus on the main boom in monolithic configuration. The study was conducted through a series of experimental tests under operating conditions, aimed at evaluating the stress acting on the components of the work equipment. The measurements were performed using electrical strain gauges and provided the basis for the study and implementation of countermeasures necessary for the validation of the component.
L'attività descritta in questa relazione, svolta presso Komatsu Italia Manufacturing, riguarda l'analisi sperimentale del comporatamento strutturale dei principalii componenti dell'attrezzatura di lavoro di un escavatore idraulico gommato, con particolare riferimento al braccio principale in configurazione monolitica. L'attività è stata condotta mediante l'esecuzione di prove sperimentali in condizioni operative, finalizzate a valutare le sollecitazioni agenti sui componenti del braccio di lavoro. Le misurazioni sono state effettuate tramite l'impiego di estensimetri elettrici e hanno portato all'implementazione di contromisure necessarie alla validazione del componente.
