This thesis aims to analyze the novel Zbor frânt (1966) by the Moldovan writer Vladimir Beșleagă, considered one of the fundamental works of postwar Romanian literature. Through a critical-literary study, it seeks to explore the existential, psychological, and symbolic themes that emerge in the text, with particular attention to the historical and social context of Soviet Moldova. The paper will be based on a direct analysis of the novel, supported by critical sources drawn from Romanian secondary literature. The objective is to highlight the author’s innovative narrative style, the fragmentation of discourse, and the representation of the protagonist’s inner conflict, in relation to the collective traumas of the society of that time. The research also aims to emphasize the role of Zbor frânt in the renewal of the Romanian novel and in the construction of Moldovan literary identity.
La presente tesi si propone di analizzare il romanzo Zbor frânt (1966) dello scrittore moldavo Vladimir Beșleagă, considerato una delle opere fondamentali della letteratura romena postbelica. Attraverso uno studio critico-letterario, si intende esplorare le tematiche esistenziali, psicologiche e simboliche che emergono nel testo, con particolare attenzione al contesto storico-sociale della Moldavia sovietica. L’elaborato si baserà sull’analisi diretta del romanzo, affiancata da fonti critiche tratte dalla letteratura secondaria romena. L’obiettivo è mettere in luce lo stile narrativo innovativo dell’autore, la frammentazione del discorso e la rappresentazione del conflitto interiore del protagonista, in relazione ai traumi collettivi della società dell’epoca. La ricerca intende inoltre evidenziare il ruolo di Zbor frânt nel rinnovamento del romanzo romeno e nella costruzione dell’identità letteraria moldava.
