The increasing need to monitor production cycles within Alpac S.r.l. has made the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) a fundamental tool for connecting corporate management systems with the operational level of production. The MES enables real-time monitoring of company resources, improving control over production activities, traceability and the quality of available information. This thesis analyzes the implementation of a MES software system in an Engineer-to-Order manufacturing context, with the aim of highlighting the differences before and after the introduction of the system. The work first describes the company context in which the MES is implemented (Chapters 1, 2, and 3), and then presents the main phases of the implementation process along with the final conclusions (Chapters 4, 5, and 6).

Abstract
The increasing need to monitor production cycles within Alpac S.r.l. has made the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) a fundamental tool for connecting corporate management systems with the operational level of production. The MES enables real-time monitoring of company resources, improving control over production activities, traceability and the quality of available information. This thesis analyzes the implementation of a MES software system in an Engineer-to-Order manufacturing context, with the aim of highlighting the differences before and after the introduction of the system. The work first describes the company context in which the MES is implemented (Chapters 1, 2, and 3), and then presents the main phases of the implementation process along with the final conclusions (Chapters 4, 5, and 6).| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
