The present thesis project was developed during an internship at Thermal Care Piovan Group, a leading company in the field of process cooling systems. The project focuses on the analysis and optimization of an assembly line for air-cooled chillers according to Lean Manufacturing principles, with the aim of improving productivity and balancing workloads among workstations. The thesis begins with the analysis of the current assembly line configuration (AS-IS) in order to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Based on the results, an alternative assembly line configuration (TO-BE) is proposed.

Abstract
The present thesis project was developed during an internship at Thermal Care Piovan Group, a leading company in the field of process cooling systems. The project focuses on the analysis and optimization of an assembly line for air-cooled chillers according to Lean Manufacturing principles, with the aim of improving productivity and balancing workloads among workstations. The thesis begins with the analysis of the current assembly line configuration (AS-IS) in order to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Based on the results, an alternative assembly line configuration (TO-BE) is proposed.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
