This thesis addresses the assessment of equivalence between correlation coefficients in independent samples within the field of psychological sciences. The work explores the integration of equivalence testing and bootstrapping procedures, aiming to establish an operational workflow implemented in the R environment. This approach is positioned as a methodological response to the challenges raised by the replication crisis in psychology. Alongside the methodological framework, the thesis offers a reflection on the interpretive role of effect sizes and the significance of statistical choices within clinical data analysis. Overall, the thesis aims to foster a closer integration between methodological rigor and the substantive interpretation of results, emphasizing procedural transparency and the theoretical justification of analytical decisions.

Abstract
This thesis addresses the assessment of equivalence between correlation coefficients in independent samples within the field of psychological sciences. The work explores the integration of equivalence testing and bootstrapping procedures, aiming to establish an operational workflow implemented in the R environment. This approach is positioned as a methodological response to the challenges raised by the replication crisis in psychology. Alongside the methodological framework, the thesis offers a reflection on the interpretive role of effect sizes and the significance of statistical choices within clinical data analysis. Overall, the thesis aims to foster a closer integration between methodological rigor and the substantive interpretation of results, emphasizing procedural transparency and the theoretical justification of analytical decisions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
