This study investigates the impact of mentoring on the development of civic engagement in mentors, hypothesizing that participation in the Mentor-UP program promotes increased social responsibility. The survey is based on the analysis of data from the CASQ questionnaire administered to different groups of mentors over a four-year period. The results aim to confirm how mentoring strengthens the bond between young people and the community, promoting greater awareness of their social role and cross-cutting civic skills
Il presente studio indaga l'impatto dell'esperienza di mentoring sullo sviluppo del senso civico nei mentor, ipotizzando che la partecipazione al programma Mentor-UP favorisca un aumento del senso civico. L'indagine si basa sull'analisi dei dati del questionario CASQ somministrato a diversi gruppi di mentor nell'arco di quattro anni. I risultati mirano a confermare come il mentoring potenzi il legame tra giovani e comunità, promuovendo una maggiore consapevolezza del proprio ruolo sociale e delle competenze civiche trasversali.
