This thesis analyzes educational practices in early childhood settings from an inclusive perspective, drawing on the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Starting from a theoretical reflection on inclusion and educational design in the 0–3 age range, the study is structured as a case study conducted within a nursery school. The main objective is to analyze and map educational practices within the context, with particular attention to children’s engagement, accessibility of experiences, and opportunities for action and expression. Data were collected through pedagogical observation, questionnaires administered to families, and self-assessment forms completed by educators. The findings highlight a significant alignment between the observed educational practices and the principles of UDL, particularly in terms of the variety of proposed experiences, the value given to non-verbal communication, and the promotion of children’s autonomy. However, some areas for improvement emerged, especially regarding personalization and flexibility. The study emphasizes the value of UDL as both an interpretative and a design framework for promoting inclusive educational contexts from early childhood.

However, some areas for improvement emerged, especially regarding personalization and flexibility.
