Today's children are increasingly immersed in a digitalized environment that exposes them to rapid and engaging stimuli, making study activities particularly demanding in terms of concentration and insufficient in terms of engagement. This paper aims to determine whether it is possible to enhance children's motivation towards history through the study of local history using laboratory-based teaching strategies. The impact on inclusion is also explored. By reviewing the literature on the topic, which consistently discusses and advocates the combination of local history and historical laboratory, teaching activities were designed and implemented in two fifth-grade primary school classes, yielding appreciable results in terms of motivation toward the subject. The proposed laboratory methodology proved to be adequate, demonstrating positive outcomes for the inclusion of the most vulnerable students.

Abstract
The proposed laboratory methodology proved to be adequate, demonstrating positive outcomes for the inclusion of the most vulnerable students.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
