The thesis examines the relationship between primary school education and artificial intelligence, investigating how teachers perceive this change and what educational role schools may take on in guiding children toward a conscious, critical, and responsible use of intelligent technologies. It begins with a theoretical framework focused on the pervasiveness of AI, the role of the school, teachers’ perceptions and training needs, and the Italian context of digital competences and school policies. The study then develops a case study at Istituto Comprensivo 1 in Bassano del Grappa. The research is based on a quantitative questionnaire addressed to primary school teachers in the institute, designed to explore perceptions, concerns, AI-related practices, and representations of its educational impact. In conclusion, the thesis compares the general theoretical framework with the case study and opens up a reflection on the possible ways in which the integration of AI in primary school may be considered, offering examples and educational choices to be critically evaluated.

Abstract
In conclusion, the thesis compares the general theoretical framework with the case study and opens up a reflection on the possible ways in which the integration of AI in primary school may be considered, offering examples and educational choices to be critically evaluated.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
