In this thesis, a feasibility study of a bilateral-grip robotic prosthetic hand was carried out. The work began with a state-of-the-art review to assess further research in the scientific field regarding this type of hand, followed by the actual design phase. The required specifications of the hand were analyzed in terms of speed and torque, leading to the development of a prototype that matches the dimensions of a human hand. Subsequently, after comparing various models, tests and trials will be conducted to verify whether they meet the design requirements, along with an analysis of the components subjected to the greatest stress.

Abstract
In this thesis, a feasibility study of a bilateral-grip robotic prosthetic hand was carried out. The work began with a state-of-the-art review to assess further research in the scientific field regarding this type of hand, followed by the actual design phase. The required specifications of the hand were analyzed in terms of speed and torque, leading to the development of a prototype that matches the dimensions of a human hand. Subsequently, after comparing various models, tests and trials will be conducted to verify whether they meet the design requirements, along with an analysis of the components subjected to the greatest stress.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
