The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the current working environment has become an increasingly important issue, especially in the areas of Learning and Development (L&D) and Talent Management (TM). This thesis is focused on exploring how AI technologies are currently changing the nature of professional work and the skills required of professionals working in these areas. The target group for this research are professionals specializing in learning and development and talent management in an organizational context. This study follows a systematic literature search that includes a structured literature review of academic literature from Scopus, the ACM Digital Library, and APA PsycNet. This study has employed specific inclusion and exclusion criteria to analyze recent peer-reviewed articles. The goal of this study is to investigate the manner in which the integration of artificial intelligence is changing the work environment for learning and development and talent management professionals. This study aims to understand the changes and transformation occurring in these professions, necessary capabilities for success, and what issues these professionals face, by synthesizing existing literature.
