La Formazione a distanza nel contesto universitario: uno studio sulla relazione tra FaD e motivazione all'apprendimento

The paper explores the relationship between Distance Education and university students' learning motivation. In particular, I wanted to investigate whether and how the first impacts the second. The dissertation is divided into three chapters: the first one tries to retrace the history of Distance Education, the second one focuses on motivation and motivation theories, while the third and final chapter is an experimental one. Through this study, an attempt was made to make a small contribution to the pedagogical-educational literature, as it is considered that the Distance Education is a topic that is still little investigated in all its aspects but of great importance for our historical period.

L'elaborato approfondisce la relazione tra Formazione a Distanza (FaD) e motivazione all'apprendimento degli studenti universitari. In modo particolare si è voluto indagare se e in che modo la prima impatta sulla seconda. La tesi è suddivisa in tra capitoli: Il primo cerca di ripercorrere la storia della Distance Education, il secondo è incentrato sulla motivazione e le teorie motivazione, mentre il terzo e ultimo capitolo è di carattere sperimentale. Attraverso tale studio si è cercato di apportare un piccolo contributo alla letteratura pedagogico-educativa, in quanto si ritiene la FaD un tema ancora poco indagato in tutte le sue sfumature ma di grande importanza per il nostro periodo storico.
