Nowadays, anyone with a device with internet access or a social media account can access an unlimited amount of information. This evolution has brought numerous advantages to the right to information and the ability to formulate and express one's opinions. However, the consequence is that anyone present in the digital world is potentially a victim of disinformation. In recent years, the European Union has taken this phenomenon seriously, outlining measures to counteract it and imposing obligations on platforms to provide users with greater transparency and security in the online environment, from the E-Commerce Directive to the Digital Services Act.
