The aim of this paper is to highlight the problems associated with the definition of talent and its development as a promoter of employability. The labour market is characterised by uncertainty, new demands and variability. Companies that succeed in implementing talent management strategies are those that can achieve high performance and thus a competitive advantage. To achieve this, it is necessary to create an environment that ensures and encourages the acquisition of skills and helps to cultivate talent, thus promoting the employability of employees. While in years past the focus was on competition between companies for the best talent, today the focus is on leveraging the entire human capital within the organisation. The growing interest in employability is inspired by the need for flexibility in a changing labour market. These changes require new skills, but also new learning opportunities. Training and lifelong learning appear to be the essential tools to germinate talent and promote employability.

Abstract
Training and lifelong learning appear to be the essential tools to germinate talent and promote employability.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
