The first chapter discusses nudging in general, attempting to define it and outline the main characteristics of this approach. The second chapter delves a bit deeper, presenting various experiments and studies that have applied nudging in real-world settings, demonstrating how it can be used in a wide range of fields. It also provides examples from everyday life. The third chapter takes a different turn, as this section focuses on all the criticism that the two authors of the nudge approach, Thaler and Sunstein, have received regarding their approach. Therefore there is the attempt to gather the major criticisms found in the literature and present them individually, in order to identify common points. The fourth and final chapter focuses on the responses that proponents of nudge have given to the criticisms received, as well as presenting best practices to minimize any problems caused by adopting this approach. In the conclusion, an attempt will be made to answer the thesis’s central question: “Is nudge ethical or not?”

Abstract
In the conclusion, an attempt will be made to answer the thesis’s central question: “Is nudge ethical or not?”| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
