Developmental crises show a crucial part of individual’s life, they are experienced in different ways from different people, and they affect various domain of life. It is insufficient studying the developmental crises on their own, without analyzing other psychological constructs and demographical variables. Developmental crises have their roots in Erik Erikson’s psychosocial theory, where individuals overcome unique challenges in each stage of life (Robinson, 2020). Another important component in this study was time perspective which is associated with increased happiness and well-being across adulthood (Webster & Ma, 2013). All these variables were taken into consideration to have a clearer and detailed picture of how all they interact with each other and predict psychological well-being among adult population in Kosovo. This study was a mixed-methods design, combining both quantitative and qualitative approaches, to have a deeper understanding of these psychological constructs. The target populations of this study were the adults residing in Kosovo, which represented a diverse range of sociodemographic background and they were divided into: emerging adults, established adults and older adults. This research contributes to understand the developmental processes and psychological resources in underexplored population such as Kosovo and understanding the impact of such contexts on the psychosocial development.
