Bioimpedance analysis is a fundamental technique for the non‑invasive assessment of the electrical properties of biological tissues and is increasingly used for monitoring health status and body composition. This thesis addresses the study and experimental characterization of simple RC circuits, in series and parallel configurations, as elementary electrical models of tissue bioimpedance. A test bench was built on a breadboard and interfaced with an NI myDAQ acquisition board in order to measure the frequency response of these circuits. The excitation signal was generated in MATLAB, sent to the board, and subsequently re‑acquired to enable numerical processing of the data. For the implemented RC circuits, the magnitude and phase of the impedance were experimentally measured as functions of frequency and compared with the theoretical curves, showing good agreement. This confirmed the validity of the test setup and demonstrated how these elementary models can effectively represent the electrical behavior of tissues, providing a basis for extending the approach to more complex bioimpedance models.

Abstract
This confirmed the validity of the test setup and demonstrated how these elementary models can effectively represent the electrical behavior of tissues, providing a basis for extending the approach to more complex bioimpedance models.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
