This thesis describes the design and development of a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform, carried out during a curricular internship of approximately 300 hours at Centurio S.R.L. (Conegliano, Italy), a company operating in the managed cybersecurity sector under the MSSP model. The project stems from the need to integrate the company's internal operational flows into a single environment: management of customers, projects and tasks, working-hours tracking, ticketing and reporting. The work was organized into the analysis of business processes and requirements, the design of the architecture and data schema, and the development and verification of the prototype. The resulting platform is a multi-tenant web application based on Angular, NestJS and PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM, featuring data isolation through a dedicated schema per tenant, separate authentication between the tenant area and the Super Admin area, role-based access control and operation tracking through an audit trail. The prototype was further extended with email flow integration via the Microsoft Graph API, customer import from Fatture in Cloud, and S3-compatible storage for attachments. Verification and validation combined static analysis, automated unit, integration and end-to-end browser tests, security checks and functional acceptance testing on the main workflows. All mandatory and desirable objectives of the work plan were completed: the result is a PoC that demonstrates the technical and functional feasibility of the solution and provides a concrete foundation for future evolutions of the product.
La tesi descrive la progettazione e lo sviluppo di un Proof of Concept (PoC) per una piattaforma di Professional Services Automation (PSA), realizzato durante uno stage curricolare di circa 300 ore presso Centurio S.R.L. (Conegliano, TV), azienda operante nel settore della sicurezza informatica gestita secondo il modello MSSP. Il progetto nasce dall'esigenza di integrare in un unico ambiente i flussi operativi interni dell'azienda: gestione di clienti, progetti e task, registrazione delle ore lavorate, ticketing e reportistica. Il lavoro si è articolato in analisi dei processi aziendali e dei requisiti, progettazione dell'architettura e dello schema dati, sviluppo e verifica del prototipo. La piattaforma realizzata è un'applicazione web multi-tenant basata su Angular, NestJS e PostgreSQL con Prisma ORM, con isolamento dei dati tramite schema dedicato per tenant, autenticazione separata tra area tenant e area Super Admin, controllo degli accessi basato sui ruoli e tracciamento delle operazioni tramite audit trail. Il prototipo è stato inoltre esteso con l'integrazione dei flussi email tramite Microsoft Graph API, l'importazione dei clienti da Fatture in Cloud e uno storage S3-compatible per gli allegati. La verifica e la validazione hanno combinato analisi statica, test automatici unitari, di integrazione ed end-to-end nel browser, controlli di sicurezza e collaudi funzionali sui workflow principali. Tutti gli obiettivi obbligatori e desiderabili del piano di lavoro sono stati completati: il risultato è un PoC che dimostra la fattibilità tecnica e funzionale della soluzione e fornisce una base concreta per le evoluzioni successive del prodotto.
