This Thesis describes the work carried out during the curricular internship at RiskAPP S.r.l., which focused on developing a modular system for managing asynchronous processes with real-time updates in a web application. The project uses PDF report generation as the main application case, addressing the need to handle long-running operations without relying on periodic requests from the frontend. The application backend remains responsible for the domain logic and coordinates the start of the processing, while the asynchronous microservice manages task states and sends updates to the frontend through WebSocket notifications. The work also includes the development of integration libraries for Django backends and React frontends, designed to simplify communication between components, reduce code duplication, and support the reuse of the solution in future application contexts.

Abstract
This Thesis describes the work carried out during the curricular internship at RiskAPP S.r.l., which focused on developing a modular system for managing asynchronous processes with real-time updates in a web application. The project uses PDF report generation as the main application case, addressing the need to handle long-running operations without relying on periodic requests from the frontend. The application backend remains responsible for the domain logic and coordinates the start of the processing, while the asynchronous microservice manages task states and sends updates to the frontend through WebSocket notifications. The work also includes the development of integration libraries for Django backends and React frontends, designed to simplify communication between components, reduce code duplication, and support the reuse of the solution in future application contexts.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
