Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to implement and apply a mathematical and simulation model for the performance analysis of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) used for electric traction. The analysis focuses on evaluating vehicle efficiency and energy consumption during real-world driving cycles, with particular attention to the influence of road gradients (varying elevation). By integrating the electromechanical characteristics of the motor with the dynamic parameters of the vehicle, the model enables the estimation of the required torque and power consumption along urban routes, specifically at low speeds. The results highlight how altimetric variations significantly affect the battery state of charge and motor losses, emphasizing the importance of considering terrain profiles for a realistic estimation of the range and performance of modern electric traction systems| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
