This thesis analyzes control techniques for permanent magnet synchronous motors, machines with high efficiency and torque density, widely used in industrial and automotive applications. After an initial presentation on PMSM machines, the paper focuses on the control techniques used for motion management, moving from an analysis of the model and components of control systems such as PID systems, microcontrollers, and inverter devices, to a discussion and comparison of the main vector control techniques used in management systems such as direct torque control and field oriented control.
Il presente elaborato si basa sull' analisi delle tecniche di controllo relative a motori sincroni a magneti permanenti, macchine dotate di elevata efficienza e densità di coppia, ampiamente impiegate in ambiti industriali e automotive. Il lavoro, dopo un' iniziale presentazione relativa alle macchine PMSM, si concentra sull' analisi delle tecniche di controllo impiegate per la gestione del moto, passando da un' analisi del modello e dei componenti dei sistemi di regolazione quali sistemi PID, microcontrollori e dispositivi inverter, ad una trattazione e confronto delle principali tecniche di controllo vettoriale impiegate nei sistemi di gestione quali il controllo diretto di coppia ed il controllo ad orientamento di campo.
