This thesis aims to analyze the pedagogical value of space in early childhood services, exploring the concept of the environment as a "Third Educator." Through an investigation that spans theory and practice, the work explores the silent dialogue between the child and the environment, emphasizing how the setting and the adult's intentional observation are crucial elements in the care process. The constituent elements of the educational setting are examined in detail, such as the organization of internal and external spaces, the choice of furnishings, and the use of materials. The research concludes with a critical analysis conducted at the Primi Passi nursery, where, through the use of a logbook and interviews with educators, the effectiveness of the settings and the daily management of the contexts are reflected upon. The final objective is to demonstrate how a thoughtful and experienced space can be transformed into an active pedagogical device capable of promoting children's well-being and development.

Abstract
The final objective is to demonstrate how a thoughtful and experienced space can be transformed into an active pedagogical device capable of promoting children's well-being and development.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
