The thesis begins with an overview of the evolution of advertising communication, focusing in particular on how digital progress has profoundly changed the role of consumers: they are no longer passive subjects indiscriminately exposed to rational messages, but active collaborators who participate in the creation and dissemination of content. In fact, social media provide a space where users share experiences, exchange opinions, and interact with one another. Brands recognize the potential of these dynamics and, aware of the importance of building relationships with consumers, seek to create participatory communities. However, for this to happen, it is necessary to produce engaging content capable of capturing attention in an environment saturated with stimuli: this is where emotions come into play. The paper highlights several cognitive and social reasons that make emotional messages more appealing and easily shareable among users. Among the brands that effectively leverage the power of emotions are Netflix and Prime Video, which, by using different types of content such as memes, cultural references, and relatable elements, succeed in making users feel valued and represented. These considerations give rise to the interest in understanding whether some categories of emotional copy are more effective than others in encouraging conversations among community members. The research aims to answer this question by analyzing the copy and comments of Instagram posts related to television series produced by Prime Video and Netflix.

Abstract
The research aims to answer this question by analyzing the copy and comments of Instagram posts related to television series produced by Prime Video and Netflix.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
