The thesis presents an analysis of the critical challenges faced by innovative start-ups and outlines three key strategies that can enable a company to overcome the most significant current obstacle: surviving the early years in order to transition from a start-up to an established business. The thematic discussion also includes an in-depth examination of start-up accelerators, highlighting how they act as valuable enablers in reducing the high rate of business failure. Finally, two sustainability models (Circular Economy and Sharing Economy) are proposed as viable approaches for the most promising start-ups, with the aim of enhancing resilience, competitiveness, and positive environmental impact.
