Variación diatópica del español de Venezuela

Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world, which has made way for multiple variations to develop depending on the region, city or country you find yourself in. This research focuses on studying the diatopic variation of Venezuelan Spanish, with the aim of analyzing its distinguishing linguistic features. The study will primarily examine the pronunciation and lexical differences that set Venezuelan Spanish apart from other variations of the language. Moreover, a historical review of the discovery of America and colonization will be conducted in order to better understand the origins of the accents, pronunciations and lexicons specific to this region.

El idioma español es una de las lenguas más habladas en el mundo, lo que ha dado lugar a diversas variaciones dependiendo de la región, ciudad o país en el que se habla. En esta investigación, nos enfocaremos en el estudio de la variación diatópica del español hablado en Venezuela, con el objetivo de analizar las características lingüísticas que lo distinguen. Se examinarán principalmente las particularidades en la pronunciación y el léxico que diferencian al español venezolano de otras variedades de la lengua. Además, se abordará un repaso histórico del descubrimiento de América y la colonización para comprender el origen de los acentos, pronunciaciones y léxicos propios de esta región.
