This thesis examines conflict resolution in organizational contexts involving a Chinese counterpart, a research area of growing relevance to international business models as cultural differences can generate misunderstandings and exacerbate conflicts. The aim is to provide in a single reading what emerges from the literature on the evolution of conflict in Sino-foreign contexts and on the most appropriate restoration strategies. This work is based on a literature review and aims to provide a useful reading key for interpreting the conflict. The main contribution is an interpretative model according to which repairing conflict with a Chinese counterpart does not represent a single move, but a dynamic process that may include: a cooperative logic for conflicts over work content; restoring the mianzi for relational damage; reciprocity to stabilize the relationship; and mediation in cases of high emotional involvement. The paper therefore argues that the effective management of conflict in Sino-foreign environments does not depend on universal solutions, but on a correct understanding and interpretation of the context in order to adapt the different strategies.

Abstract
The paper therefore argues that the effective management of conflict in Sino-foreign environments does not depend on universal solutions, but on a correct understanding and interpretation of the context in order to adapt the different strategies.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
