La funzione di Pianificazione nel controllo dei fabbisogni di materie prime: Analisi di un contesto manifatturiero

The thesis is based on an internship carried out at a footwear company and aims to analyze the process of identifying raw material requirements managed by the Production Planning department. In particular, the thesis examines the preliminary phases of the process from a planning perspective, with the objective of ensuring compliance with the delivery timelines required by the customer (delivery date). The analysis focuses on the monitoring of production requirements through the lens of the Management Information System, highlighting the role of the key actors involved, the business functions, the operational procedures, as well as the data and software employed.

L’elaborato si basa sull’attività di tirocinio svolta presso un’azienda calzaturiera e si propone di analizzare il processo di identificazione dei fabbisogni di materie prime gestito dall’ufficio Pianificazione della Produzione. In particolare la tesi esamina le fasi preliminari del processo sotto la prospettiva della Pianificazione, con l’obiettivo di garantire il rispetto delle tempistiche di consegna richieste dal cliente (delivery date). L’analisi si concentra sul monitoraggio dei fabbisogni produttivi attraverso la lente del Management Information System, evidenziando il ruolo dei principali attori coinvolti, delle funzioni aziendali, delle procedure operative, dei dati e dei software utilizzati.
