This thesis aims to analyze the phenomenon of Italianisms within youth tourism in the German language. The first part of the study outlines the theoretical framework of language contact between Italian and German, classifying the mechanisms of borrowing, lexical integration, and the emergence of pseudo-Italianisms. Subsequently, the investigation focuses on the peculiarities of the language of tourism as a specialized language, examining the evolution of youth mobility and the experiential marketing strategies that exploit "cultural terms" as emotional triggers and markers of authenticity. The third section constitutes the empirical part of the research: through the creation of a digital corpus extracted from German promotional platforms targeted at young travelers, thirty Italianisms were mapped and categorized. The quantitative data reveal a clear polarization around the food and beverage sector, partially disproving the hypothesis of a usage tied exclusively to the movida or nightlife entertainment. The analysis demonstrates how German tourism promotional language capitalizes on a deeply sedimented traditional imagery, integrating Italianisms not to fill denotative gaps, but rather as effective persuasive and symbolic resources capable of redefining the "tourist gaze" of the youth audience.

Abstract
The analysis demonstrates how German tourism promotional language capitalizes on a deeply sedimented traditional imagery, integrating Italianisms not to fill denotative gaps, but rather as effective persuasive and symbolic resources capable of redefining the "tourist gaze" of the youth audience.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
