This thesis examines the relationship between the use of generative artificial intelligence and work engagement in workplace settings. The study is based on the Job Demands–Resources model, according to which AI can be experienced either as a useful resource or as an additional job demand. A longitudinal design was adopted, with three short questionnaires administered each day, to investigate how AI use and work engagement vary throughout the working day.
