Li-Fi, or Light Fidelity, is a wireless communication technology that uses visible light instead of radio waves to transmit data. In a Li-Fi system, LED lamps rapidly change their light intensity to send information, while a photodetector receives and converts the light signal into electrical data. This technology can offer high data rates, improved security, and reduced electromagnetic interference compared to traditional Wi-Fi. Li-Fi is especially useful in indoor environments, hospitals, aircraft, and places where radio-frequency communication is limited. However, its main limitations are the need for line-of-sight communication and reduced performance when the light path is blocked.

Abstract
Li-Fi, or Light Fidelity, is a wireless communication technology that uses visible light instead of radio waves to transmit data. In a Li-Fi system, LED lamps rapidly change their light intensity to send information, while a photodetector receives and converts the light signal into electrical data. This technology can offer high data rates, improved security, and reduced electromagnetic interference compared to traditional Wi-Fi. Li-Fi is especially useful in indoor environments, hospitals, aircraft, and places where radio-frequency communication is limited. However, its main limitations are the need for line-of-sight communication and reduced performance when the light path is blocked.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
