This thesis analyzes the use of surface waves for the characterization and seismic classification of the subsurface, with reference to the case study of Praglia (Padua). The objective of this work is to evaluate the dynamic properties of the soil through a non-invasive geophysical survey, aimed at determining the average shear wave velocity in the first 30 meters of depth (Vs30), a fundamental parameter for soil classification according to current regulations.

Abstract
This thesis analyzes the use of surface waves for the characterization and seismic classification of the subsurface, with reference to the case study of Praglia (Padua). The objective of this work is to evaluate the dynamic properties of the soil through a non-invasive geophysical survey, aimed at determining the average shear wave velocity in the first 30 meters of depth (Vs30), a fundamental parameter for soil classification according to current regulations.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
