To further elucidate the pathogenesis of sporadic GH-PitNETs, investigate their intertumoral heterogeneity and identify genes and biological pathways that may represent potential therapeutic targets, several transcriptomic studies have been conducted, substantially expanding the understanding of these aspects. These investigations have enabled the integration of transcriptomic data with the clinical and histopathological features of the tumors, including invasiveness, immunohistochemical profiles, and response to therapy, in order to identify key genes and molecular pathways associated with distinct tumor phenotypes (D. Marrero-Rodríguez et al., 2024). The aim of this thesis is to systematically review the relevant literature in this field, compare and integrate the available findings, and provide a comprehensive overview of the transcriptomic alterations that characterize GH-PitNETs.

Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to systematically review the relevant literature in this field, compare and integrate the available findings, and provide a comprehensive overview of the transcriptomic alterations that characterize GH-PitNETs.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
