Mitochondria are essential organelles for the maintenance of cellular homeostasis, and their functionality relies on multiple mechanisms that preserve their structural integrity. Among the proteins involved in mitochondrial homeostasis, ATAD3B has been associated with the progression of several types of cancer. Preliminary observations from our laboratory revealed a progressive decrease in ATAD3B expression levels during cell growth. Based on these findings, the aim of the present study was to investigate whether this reduction in ATAD3B expression could be attributed to proteasome-mediated degradation. To this end, a stable MCF10A cell line expressing ATAD3B was generated and subsequently treated with the proteasome inhibitor MG132. ATAD3B expression levels were then evaluated by Western blot analysis.

Abstract
ATAD3B expression levels were then evaluated by Western blot analysis.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
