This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a 2-DOF parallel manipulator based on a five-bar linkage architecture. The work involved the analysis of an existing laboratory system, followed by the CAD design and fabrication of mechanical components using 3D printing techniques. Furthermore, a control architecture was developed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to ensure the coordinated motion of the manipulator. The project concluded with functional testing to validate the kinematic performance and the precision of the robotic system in an operational environment.

Abstract
This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a 2-DOF parallel manipulator based on a five-bar linkage architecture. The work involved the analysis of an existing laboratory system, followed by the CAD design and fabrication of mechanical components using 3D printing techniques. Furthermore, a control architecture was developed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to ensure the coordinated motion of the manipulator. The project concluded with functional testing to validate the kinematic performance and the precision of the robotic system in an operational environment.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
