This thesis examines Leontief's Input-Output model as a tool for analysing productive interdependencies within supply chains. After outlining the static formulation of the model and the mathematical conditions ensuring its economic validity, the work proposes a dynamic extension introducing a time lag in the propagation of effects along the chain, showing that the stability of the system depends on the same condition that guarantees the soundness of the static model. The theoretical framework is finally applied to a fashion supply chain, simulating the impact of a change in final demand and measuring how it is transmitted to upstream nodes.

Abstract
This thesis examines Leontief's Input-Output model as a tool for analysing productive interdependencies within supply chains. After outlining the static formulation of the model and the mathematical conditions ensuring its economic validity, the work proposes a dynamic extension introducing a time lag in the propagation of effects along the chain, showing that the stability of the system depends on the same condition that guarantees the soundness of the static model. The theoretical framework is finally applied to a fashion supply chain, simulating the impact of a change in final demand and measuring how it is transmitted to upstream nodes.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
