The thesis project documents the design and implementation of a centralized data infrastructure to support management control. The underlying need of the project was the IT optimization of Job Order Costing, aiming to automate the calculation of the Contribution Margin and manage a cascade costing logic through precise data stratification. The technological core of the work required the development of a Data Warehouse (DWH) and the configuration of the related Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines. It was fundamental to ensure accurate data convergence across various corporate information systems that were originally disconnected: from HR and MES software to CRM, document management systems, and traditional Excel spreadsheets. The entire information flow was mapped and normalized within a single model, designed to become the exclusive data source for the control system. Once the architecture was consolidated, the final step involved the development of the Business Intelligence layer. Through the publication of interactive dashboards directly on the company intranet, area managers can now consult performance metrics rapidly and reliably. In addition to resolving the complexities associated with the fragmented recording of costs and revenues, the new infrastructure has provided stakeholders with the technological tools to make decisions based on certified data, guiding the company toward a structured and truly data-driven approach.

Abstract
In addition to resolving the complexities associated with the fragmented recording of costs and revenues, the new infrastructure has provided stakeholders with the technological tools to make decisions based on certified data, guiding the company toward a structured and truly data-driven approach.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
