Adding Artificial Intelligence (AI) to a business today is often seen as a quick fix for efficiency. We know that it obviously is not like that: it cuts down on human slips, saves time, and makes the decision-making phase a bit more flexible. But there is a massive side related to it that usually gets ignored. If you just throw AI into a company without a clear plan, you end up with a noisy environment where the tools distract the operators from their real goals. This thesis, as we will see, is built around the idea that AI implementation only works if it is preceded by a deep, honest mapping of existing processes, focused more on the reality (as-is) and less on the ideal processes. By mapping out every workflow, we can find the exact spots where automation makes sense and where it would just be a burden. I have explored how to create a framework where AI acts more like a silent partner in the background. It should handle the repetitive, heavy data lifting while leaving the strategic, high-value thinking to the human staff. The goal here is not just to automate for the sake of it. It is about creating a system where the technology does not misalign the focus of the team. We want a setup where the person in charge stays in control of the company’s vision, while the AI quietly eliminates the friction that usually slows things down. With reference to Prestige Srl we are going to see where and why processes that were identified as bottlenecks required AI implementation. This research shows that a well-mapped process is the only way to make sure AI serves the people, and not the other way around.

Abstract
This research shows that a well-mapped process is the only way to make sure AI serves the people, and not the other way around.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
